You’ll find songs in several different categories, including easy songs, popular songs, 80s songs, Disney songs, hip-hop songs, country songs, and duets! Let’s get straight into it!

Easiest karaoke songs for women

Don’t have the singing skills to belt out “I Dreamed A Dream” like Susan Boyle? Don’t worry! There are tons of easy karaoke songs that will still sound super impressive.

1. Jolene – Dolly Parton

You’ll find Dolly a few times on this list. This woman has written some absolutely classic country songs and significantly helped to broaden the audience of country music. “Jolene” was one of the first major hits of the female singer and is still extremely popular today, more than 50 years after its release! The song’s simple melody and slow, steady tempo make it an excellent karaoke song for women!

2. Oops!… I Did It Again – Britney Spears

It isn’t a secret that Britney Spears is a pop icon of the late 90s and early 2000s era. This song is the title track from her second album and was a MAJOR hit. I was a huge Britney fan back in the day and can definitely attest to this being an iconic song for karaoke night. Of course, channeling the energy of Britney Spears is no easy feat, but this is a pretty simple and easy pop karaoke song to sing your heart out to!

3. Love Story – Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has become one of the most popular and successful musicians of all time and is the first musician to become a billionaire solely through album and concert sales. Taylor has released a lot of music since her 2nd album Fearless, but “Love Story” is still one of her biggest hits to date. This innocent love story is a play on Romeo and Juliet and is a perfect sing-along tune for karaoke.

4. I Will Survive – Gloria Gaynor

If you are looking for a powerful female karaoke song that is surprisingly easy to sing, look no further than “I Will Survive”. The 1978 disco classic by Gloria Gaynor has withstood the test of time, as almost anyone knows the words to this song 50 years after it was released!

5. I’m Yours – Jason Mraz

While not originally sung by a female lead, Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” is a tune that just about anyone can sing on a karaoke stage. The melody of the song is simple and catchy and the tune doesn’t have any major pitch differences. This 2008 mega-hit is the perfect easy-going love song to sing for women (or men).

6. Dance the Night Away – Dua Lipa

My first song pick from this decade, “Dance the Night Away” by Dua Lipa, is a recent pop song that was released as part of the Barbie Movie Soundtrack. This song is incredibly catchy and simple, making it a perfect karaoke song. To really beef up your performance, you can also memorize the choreographed dance that goes along with the song!

7. Watermelon Suger – Harry Styles

Another relatively recent song, “Watermelon Suger,” is one of One Direction-ex Harry Styles’ most famous songs. This song has a repetitive verse and chorus structure and is not complex or difficult to sing. This is sure to be a crowd-pleaser and will get the entire karaoke bar singing along!

8. Girlfriend – Avril Lavigne

Calling all angsty millennials! Avril Lavine was one of my favorite singers growing up and is one of the most successful female pop-punk musicians of all time! Riding on the back of the punk renaissance of the 90s, Lavigne rose to fame in the early 2000s, and “Girlfriend” was her biggest hit! This song is surprisingly easy to sing; just make sure to belt it out to get the same energy as Avril!

9. You Belong With Me – Taylor Swift

Another Taylor Swift song on the list. “You Belong With Me” is another smash hit from Fearless. Any Swiftie will know the lyrics to this song by heart and likely won’t need to look at the karaoke screen for lyrics at all!

10. Bad Romance – Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has had many massive hits since her debut in 2007, but none of her albums were as successful as her first, Fame. “Bad Romance” is one of Gaga’s most recognizeable songs and is, of course, an extremely popular karaoke song for women! This song is pretty easy to sing, especially if you know the song well, as it has some unique rhythmic vocal sequences.

11. A Thousand Miles – Vanessa Carlton

This song was the 6th biggest single of 2002 and is the only major hit by Vanessa Carlton. It was also famously featured in the film White Chicks, in which Terry Crews famously sang the song. This is a super easy song, even for karaoke beginners, and has very few melodic changes. Honestly, a karaoke night isn’t complete unless this song is played at least once!

12. Unwritten – Natasha Bedingfield

This early 2004 hit single has had a recent resurgence since being featured in the soundtrack for the movie Anyone But You and then going viral on TikTok. It would be pretty difficult not to sing along to this extremely catchy pop song.

13. Big Girls Don’t Cry – Fergie

Fergie got her start with the Black Eyed Peas, but in 2006 she released her debut album, The Dutchess, which included three number-1 hits, including “Big Girls Don’t Cry”. This song deviates from Fergie’s normal style as it is a slow, emotional pop ballad instead of an upbeat dance song.

14. Zombie – The Cranberries

This is a highly emotional alternative rock song by one of Ireland’s most successful bands. “Zombie” was written in protest of the IRA bombings in Warrington, England. Dolores O’Riordan, wrote the song during a “The Troubles” a period of turmoil in Ireland. While nailing down O’Riordan’s exact tones and melodies is certainly not the easiest task, the basic structure of the song is relatively simple.

15. Torn – Natalia Imbruglia

Natalia Imbruglia’s popular recording of the song“Torn” was one of the biggest hits of 1998 and was even nominated for a Grammy Award! Interestingly, “Torn” was originally written by the band Ednaswap, and the first-ever recording was by Danish singer Lis Sorenson under the title “Brændt”. This is an absolute must for any girls-only karaoke session!

The late-great Amy Winehouse’s rendition of “Valerie” by the Zutons is hands down one of my favorite songs of all time. The song has groovy instrumentals and powerful vocals that few singers can recreate. This is a pretty difficult song to sing at karaoke, but if you are up for the challenge, it is a pretty impressive tune!

17. Bad Guy – Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish has become a female pop icon in the past few years, and her climb to fame was marked by the success of her single “Bad Guy” in 2019.
