Is it a beginner-friendly effects unit? Absolutely not. But beginners are not likely going to be needing this type of premium effects unit anyways. Its user-friendly interface includes knobs, buttons, and a huge LCD screen that allows you to quickly navigate and operate the pedal. 

The GT-1000 can also be used with bass guitar, making it a super versatile multi-effects pedal!
